Ohio Medical Electrology Institute meets the requirements of Chapter 3332 of the Ohio Revised Code and the standards, rules and regulations of the State Board of Career Colleges and Schools. This certificate of registration grants approval to legally offer and solicit students for authorized postsecondary education programs in the State of Ohio.

As a Licensed Nurse, a practicing Cosmetic Therapist, and encouraged by colleagues, family, friends and clients, I have developed a comprehensive academic & clinical training program for the modern Electrologist.

Electrolysis is the permanent removal of hair from the human body through the use of electrical modalities approved for the use in Cosmetic Therapy.

Cosmetic Therapy is not the practice of cosmetology or aesthetics.

As of April 12th, 2021 the 133rd Ohio General Assembly, eliminated the licensure of the Cosmetic Therapist.
